Candidacy Requirements / Requisitos para candidaturas

According to Article II, Section 2 of the PRSSA Constitution, candidates for the National Board must meet the following requirements:

Candidates for President
• must be Active Members for the desired term of service, and
• must have been an Active Member for a minimum of one (1) year prior to filing their candidacy, and
• must have served as a National Board officer or Cabinet member (IE: Executive Director, Communications Director, State Director, etc.) for a minimum of six (6) months

Candidates for Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer
• must be Active Members for the desired term of service, and
• must have been Active Members for a minimum of six (6) months prior to filing their candidacy.

Según dispone el artículo II, sección 2 de la Constitución de PRSSA, los candidatos para la Directiva Nacional deberán satisfacer los siguientes requerimientos:

Candidatos a presidente
• deberán ser Miembros Activos durante el término en que desean ocupar el puesto, y
• habrán sido Miembros Activos por un mínimo de un (1) año antes de radicar su candidatura, y
• habrán servido como oficial de la Directiva Nacional o como miembro del gabinete (Director Ejecutivo, Director de Comunicaciones, Director Estatal, etc.) por un mínimo de seis (6) meses

Candidatos a vicepresidente, secretario, y tesorero
• deberán ser Miembros Activos durante el término en que desean ocupar el puesto, y
• habrán sido Miembros Activos por un mínimo de seis (6) meses antes de radicar su candidatura
